Heritage Property Gets an Update…
We were appointed to undertake extensive restoration to this Grade II Listed Building in Covent Garden, which is thought to have once been used by Thomas Chippendale as part of his furniture workshop. The building had fallen into disrepair and was suffering from extensive structural damage.Repairs, refurbishment and conservation work was carried out and this included new lime based lathe and plaster ceilings and the replacement of the damaged flat roof with a new hipped slate roof.
Two high quality residential units were created and these included contemporary features such as extensive audio visual networking systems, state of the art kitchens and bathrooms, a completely restored original staircase and a feature vaulted ceiling to the uppermost floor. The end result is a stunning refurbishment and conservation masterpiece which has been nominated for various Conservation awards and prizes.
